Join Greta de la Montagne, RH(AHG), SWSBM ’92 for an engaging online class exploring three of Michael Moore’s favorite Southwest herbs: Yerba Santa (Eriodictyon angustifolia), Yerba Mansa (Anemopsis californica), and Osha (Ligusticum porterii). These powerhouse plants have long been valued in herbal traditions, and Greta will bring them to life through both practical application and historical context.

In addition to teaching these herbs, Greta will guide participants through the newly replatformed SWSBM.org website—demonstrating how to access Michael’s extensive body of freely available work, including his full video course, herb folios, distribution maps, and research resources from the eclectic medicine era. She will also introduce new learning tools, including an interactive software designed to help practitioners and students apply Michael’s Constitutional Excess and Deficiency model for both clinical practice and everyday wellness.

Greta is a longtime clinical herbalist, massage therapist, Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor, SWSBM graduate (1992), and co-directs the nonprofit SWSBM organization dedicated to preserving and sharing Michael Moore’s legacy as a pioneer of Western herbalism. She brings decades of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and ethnobotanical research, along with a deep commitment to accessible herbal education.
