Yerba Mansa is featured on our site and was one of the important native SW desert botanicals that Michael celebrated in his writing. Yerba Mansa grows near desert springs and prefers moisture, but is native and found in arid land. Many people have been successful cultivating it now, and wildcrafting is not necessary.

Indications: Subacute rhinitis, sinusitis, and cystitis; mucus colitis; subacute pharyngitis from staph/strep; joint inflammations with hyperuricemia; low pH urine
ROOT. Tincture [Fresh Root, 1:2, Dry Root, 1:5, 60% alcohol] 20-60 drops to 5X a
day. Dilute for gargle.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: none.
HERB. Standard or Cold Infusion as needed. 2-4 ounces similarly.
