For this special Zoom Presentation
Have you been studying Michael Moore’s work and want a deeper insight into using his model of Constitutional Physiology in your practice? Or do you just want to better understand his method?
The cost for this event is $30. We ask that you make a donation here to cover the registration fee.
Michael Moore created a concise approach to understanding constitutional imbalances by evaluating organ systems, patterns of stress, and imbalances in fluid transport. He discussed herbs that strengthen deficient functions, as well as diving into their physiologic effects in the body. He taught and wrote about this approach since the late 80s and has helped countless clinicians in formulating herbal tonics using his Excess/Deficiency model. Since his death in 2009, his system continues to be an important guide for herbal clinicians in creating balanced formulas for preventative and longer-term support. This class is open to all, but those with a background in clinical herbalism will get more out of it.
Join Nicole Telkes RH(AHG), (SWSBM alumni 2001), as she introduces and guides you through the constitutional model and how to use Michael’s intake form and formula building in your practice. This class is open to all, and will include a question and answer section. Nicole started seeing clients in 1998, and has been educating, practicing, and making herbal formulas for over 25 years. She sits on the Board of Directors for SWSBM and was the project lead for helping to rebuild and launch the SWSBM website in 2024. She founded the Wildflower School of Botanical Medicine in 2003 where she guides students through various programs, including clinical practice. She is also a regular Adjunct Professor in the Botanical Medicine Department of Bastyr University.
This is the first live class in a series that celebrates Michael Moore and his contributions to North American and Western Herbalism.
